Our industrial metal shredders are manufactured with a high attention to detail and designed to efficiently handle the extreme rigors and pressures resulting from the scrap shredding processes. 
LD PSX metal shredders incorporate several money saving features such as a heavy-duty ejection door to free unshreddables material before they cause excessive wear, a complete set of disc rotors to lower the per ton shredding costs as well as a variety of automatic shredding modes which adapts according to the type of material being shredded.

LD PSX metal shredders are equipped with a modern PLC control system which enables the right program to be selected depending on the job at hand as well as real-time data collection to optimise performance.
They boast a Human Machine Interface (HMI) with integrated diagnostic systems.
A responsive Remote Control unit increases general operational speed and also activates the hydraulic pin puller which speeds up and simplifies the removal, rotation and replacement of the shredder hammers.

Shredder is a machine that tears large scrap into smaller portions of higher density that are free from rust and dust by hammers. These hammers beat, and shear the scrap fed into the machine until it is converted into the sheave size which is provided at the bottom structure of the machine. And with the help of magnetic separator, certain size of scrap ferrous will be collected.

II. Processing materials

The following raw materials can be processed:

• Some car shells (excluding axle, oil tank, battery, gearbox, engine, etc.) that have been flattened or not flattened;
• "White goods" such as home appliances, washing machines, refrigerators, etc;
• Bicycles, motorcycles without fuel tanks, etc;
• Other materials suitable for shredding;

Materials that cannot be shredded as below:

• Steel wire rope, cable, rebar and other slender and easily wound materials;
• Alloy steel, high carbon steel, low carbon steel and other solid shafts;
• Steel pipes with wall thickness greater than 4mm or diameter greater than 200mm;
• Plates with a thickness of more than 15 mm and a maximum overall dimension which is more than 150 mm;
• Structural sections with the thickest section more than 10 mm;
• Ingots, billets and similar materials;
• Gas tank, oxygen bottle, paint barrel, etc. dangerous and explosive closed containers;

The items listed above are not complete, only for reference. The items that are more fragile than the items listed above are considered to be shredded.
